Terms & Conditions

Terms built for a clear relationship.

These Terms of Use explain the rules that apply when you visit Ivysion's website, request a consultation, use our educational resources, or engage with our admissions consulting services.

Last updated: August 28, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of websites, forms, scheduling tools, consultations, educational materials, and services provided by Ivysion (“Ivysion,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By accessing our website, submitting a form, booking a strategy session, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or services.

2. Ivysion Services

Ivysion provides college admissions consulting, strategic academic planning, application guidance, research-related educational support, and other student development services. Depending on the engagement, services may include:

  • Admissions strategy and long-term planning
  • Academic and extracurricular positioning
  • College and university list development
  • Application timeline and project management
  • Essay strategy, review, and feedback
  • Interview preparation
  • Research, mentorship, and academic development guidance
  • Other consulting or educational services agreed to in writing

Specific deliverables, timelines, fees, and responsibilities may also be governed by a separate service agreement or engagement letter. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed service agreement, the signed agreement will control for that engagement.

3. Eligibility & Parent/Guardian Participation

Our services are often used by students under the age of 18. A parent or legal guardian may be required to approve an engagement, make payments, sign agreements, or participate in communications on behalf of a minor student.

Users must provide accurate information and have the legal authority to enter into any agreement or submit information on behalf of a student.

4. User Responsibilities

Students, parents, and other users are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information
  • Meeting agreed deadlines and responding to advisor requests in a timely manner
  • Reviewing all applications and materials before submission
  • Following university, testing, scholarship, and application-platform rules
  • Submitting only truthful and authentic academic, extracurricular, and personal information
  • Protecting account credentials, documents, and personal information

5. Nature of the Consulting Relationship

Ivysion provides advice, strategy, feedback, coaching, and educational support. The student and family remain responsible for final decisions, final submissions, deadlines, and the accuracy of all application materials.

Our advisors may recommend strategies based on experience, available information, admissions trends, and professional judgment. Recommendations are not guarantees and may need to change as a student's circumstances, goals, academic record, or admissions environment changes.

6. No Guarantee of Admission or Specific Outcomes

Ivysion does not guarantee admission to any college, university, scholarship program, research publication, internship, or other educational opportunity.

Admissions decisions are made independently by universities and other institutions. Outcomes may depend on factors outside Ivysion's control, including grades, coursework, testing, institutional priorities, applicant competition, financial considerations, recommendations, interviews, and admissions policies.

Any historical results, statistics, testimonials, examples, or case studies are provided for informational purposes and should not be interpreted as a promise of future results.

7. Research, Essays & Academic Integrity

Ivysion supports authentic student work. Students are expected to comply with academic integrity standards and all rules of their schools, universities, research programs, application platforms, and other institutions.

Ivysion may provide coaching, editing feedback, brainstorming, structural guidance, and mentoring, but students remain responsible for the authenticity and accuracy of work submitted under their name.

We do not promise publication, acceptance by a journal, a specific research result, or acceptance into an external program.

8. Payments, Cancellations & Scheduling

Fees, payment schedules, refund terms, cancellation policies, and service periods may vary by engagement and will be stated in the applicable proposal, invoice, service agreement, or checkout terms.

Consultation appointments may be rescheduled or canceled subject to the scheduling terms communicated at the time of booking. Ivysion may also reschedule appointments when reasonably necessary.

9. Intellectual Property

The Ivysion name, website design, graphics, frameworks, educational materials, templates, written content, videos, presentations, strategy documents, and other original materials are owned by Ivysion or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Unless we provide written permission, Ivysion materials may not be copied, resold, republished, publicly distributed, modified for commercial use, or used to create a competing service.

Students retain ownership of their own original essays, personal statements, research work, and other student-created materials, subject to any separate agreement with a school, research program, mentor, journal, or other organization.
